Si tenim en compte que es un parc molt castigat pels incendis (un 99% dels quals estan provocats per la mà de l'home ja sigui voluntariament o involuntariament) i per tot tipus d'abusos com poden ser la gran pressió urbanística que pateix als seu voltant -Sols heu de parar esment al fet de que es l'unic parc on hi ha encara avui construcións de noves urbanitzacions en el seu interior- altres pressions i degradacions son la quantitat de pedreres, cimenteres, i demes fàbriques de gran impacte ambiental treballant a la zona. A mes d'haber estat el cubell de la basura de tot Barcelona acullint durant molts anys en el seu interior tota la brossa de la gent.<br /><br />Tot i així és un parc que necessita del nostre apreci pel gran bé que fà al nostre entorn. La seva oreografía fa de barrera a la constant expansió de l'àrea metropolitana de Barcelona (Ja en tenim prou d'Hospitalets, San's Ildefons i Castefa's). Aquestes imatges de construcció son sols un aperitiu de tota la <span style="font-weight:bold;">NOVA</span> urbanització que s'està aixecant a la Plana Novella.
